The U.S. beat El Salvador wednesday night, 4-0. Didn't see the match, no report from me, no ratings but they face Panama this afternoon at 4 EST in the Gold Cup QFs. That match I'll most likely watch.

Unfortunately for an MSU South Croominator buddy of mine, his Bulldawgs lost their CWS opener last night to the Tar Heels of UNC, 8-5. I don't know when they're elimination game is, Sunday possibly.
Arsenal have signed Norwegian teenage defender Havard Nordveit. No doubt one for the youth & reserve teams for now.
