Arsenal Beats Bolton 2-1... Cesc Scores!... Other Scores

It's about God damn time, Cesc! Only took 3.5 bazillion shots but Cesc Fabregas' goal on saturday against Bolton was the winner for Arsenal as they took all 3 points from Bolton Wanderers, 2-1.

Didn't see the game, only the highlights but Bolton scored the 1st goal of the match after some pretty stank defending from Arsenal but Arsenal countered with 2 goals from Rosicky, who snuck in past a Bolton defender who thought he had more time than he actually did & Cesc's winner just after halftime.

So, Arsenal puts a 5 point gap over Bolton in the Race for 4th place & the last Champions' League qualifying spot with only a few matches left.

Ajax Amsterdam won their match on friday against NAC Breda 2-0 to keep the pressure on PSV for the Eredivisie crown. Goals were from a Kenneth Perez penalty & Ryan Babel.

AC Milan for the 2nd sunday in a row ran out 3-1 winners over their opponents, this week being Sardinian side, Messina. Milan's goals were scored by Kaká, Giuseppe Favalli, and tubby Ronaldo who now has 5 goals in 10 Serie A matches for the Red Devils. Stefano Masiello scored the consolation goal for Messina. Milan creeps up into 4th despite the 8 pt. penalty incurred at the start of the season b/c of the recent Serie A match-fixing scandal.
